As an international student you will need to take your TOEFL exam, among others, in order to be able to apply to a college or University in the United States. Why take this exam? Because it measures your proficiency in English which is important to know in order to establish that you will be able to understand the English language correctly in order to study. If, for any reason, your TOEFL is not good enough there are “Bridge Programs” that will allow you to take English at the university before you start your career.

There are two types of TOEFL exams:

1. TOEFL iBT Test (Internet Based Test)

2. TOEFL PBT TEST (Paper Based Test)

You can take the iBT Test online. This exam measures your reading, listening, speaking and writing skills while the paper based test measures your reading, listening, grammar and writing skills.
